The 2028 Republican National Convention was an event in which delegates of the United States Republican Party selected the party's nominees for President and Vice President of the United States in the 2028 United States presidential election. Held on August 12, 2028, at the Tucson Convention Center in Tucson, Arizona, it followed the 2028 Democratic National Convention, which took place a few months earlier in July. Incumbent president Ginger Stripe and her vice president Waffle McGee were renominated after a primary contest in which they faced only token opposition.
